I voted...did you?

Off year elections are so important to your immediate community.  I honestly believe they have more impact on your life than the big presidential races do.  Sure the president decides on big policy changes, but those don't have the instant effect that the city council does.  If you've never been to a city council meeting, I highly suggest you go!  How do you think everything in your town gets done?

In my town of Eagle, Idaho, the City Council members are the legislative and policy-making branches of the City Government.  They pass ordinances and resolutions, oversee improvements and work done for the city, and approve various appointments by the Mayor that serve the City of Eagle.  In other words...they get a huge say in the direction our city moves in the future.  So how could you not be interested?!

If you did not have the opportunity or desire to vote in this election, please put it on your to-do list of future election years.  Your family, your neighbors, your friends, and your business will all be better for it!
